Services Description

GuardGate McLean Fences provides professional fence installation, repair, and replacement services. We specialize in wood, vinyl, chain-link, aluminum, pool, and commercial fencing solutions.

All service descriptions, pricing, and timelines are provided as estimates and may be subject to change based on project conditions discovered during the work process.

Quotes and Pricing

We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all fencing projects. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Final pricing may vary from the initial quote if project scope changes, additional work is requested, or unforeseen circumstances arise. We will always notify you of any price changes before proceeding with additional work.

Payment terms will be outlined in your project agreement. We typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon project completion.

Project Timeline

We provide estimated project timelines with each quote. However, actual completion times may vary due to weather conditions, material availability, permit processing times, and other factors beyond our control.

We will keep you informed throughout the project and notify you promptly of any delays or changes to the original timeline.

Property Access

By scheduling services with us, you grant GuardGate McLean Fences permission to access your property as needed to complete the agreed-upon work. This includes bringing equipment, materials, and personnel onto your property.

You are responsible for securing pets, notifying us of any property hazards, and ensuring clear access to work areas. Please let us know about any underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden features before work begins.

Permits and HOA Approval

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and homeowners association approval before fence installation begins. We can provide guidance and documentation to support your permit applications, but final approval is your responsibility.

If you request that we handle permit applications on your behalf, additional fees may apply. We cannot guarantee permit approval or timeline.

Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work. Your specific warranty terms will be outlined in your project agreement and vary based on the type of fence and materials used.

Warranties typically cover defects in workmanship but do not cover damage caused by severe weather, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, or modifications made by others.

Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will provide documentation for any applicable manufacturer warranties.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, or after work has begun, may result in charges for materials ordered, work completed, and scheduling losses.

Liability

GuardGate McLean Fences carries appropriate liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We take care to protect your property during all work, but we are not responsible for damage to underground utilities that were not properly marked or disclosed.

You agree that we are not liable for any consequential or indirect damages arising from delays, changes in project scope, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about our work, please contact us immediately. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and professionally.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication will be handled in accordance with Virginia state law and local McLean, VA jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
